The Footypunt View

Saint Kilda had a good win over West Coast at Subi in Round 12 but the Eagles were well under strength for that match and their performance was also well below what we’ve come to expect. The Saints recent form reads well on paper with 4 wins and a draw from their past 6 matches however of those wins only Hawthorn are a current top 8 side and they were in a mini form slump at the time. Despite producing what was probably their best performance of the season against the Dockers last week I don’t believe the Saints have been put under real pressure by a quality opponent recently and there is still a major question mark hanging over them in my book. That said with the absence of D Kerr and question marks over the fitness of Judd & Cousins West Coast are a slightly dicey proposition and the Saints could quite possibly strike another opponent well below full strength. If Judd & Cousins are confirmed in the starting line up then happy to get on the Eagles head to head around the $1.90 mark.
